Going home, going to work.

Toronto from Dufferin Bridge. I shot this with my camera on a tripod overlooking the Gardiner Expressway from the CNE/Dufferin Bridge. I chose this time of day (8pm) to capture the "blue hour" just before the sky goes black. The effect adds a strong element of colour to compliment the red and white car lights, and gives separation between the sky and buildings. To get a shutter speed of 30 seconds, I used an ND4 neutral density filter to reduce the light by 2 stops. © Alec Freda
